Matthew Berkowitz is a seasoned animation executive, with over a decade in the industry. Matt currently serves as Head of Development at Atomic Cartoons, a Thunderbird Company, where he is developing and growing the studio's ever expanding IP & Co-Production slate.

Previously, Matt spent 7 years at Arc Productions, where he oversaw the studio's IP slate including a TV adaptation of the Ormie short by Rob Silvestri (over 25 million hits on YouTube) that was in development at Teletoon, as well as an original feature titled Extinct, written and produced by The Simpsons veterans Joel Cohen, Rob LaZebnik, and John Frink. Matt also established animation production relationships with Sony Animation, DreamWorks Animation, Amazon Studios, Lego, Zodiak and Sprout in his time at Arc. Matt regularly attends worldwide markets including MIPCOM, Kidscreen, Annecy, Comic-Con and Licensing Expo. Prior to Arc, Matt spent time at Film Roman, and Strike Entertainment. Matt graduated from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.
