Kristen McGregor is an Emmy award-winning writer, director, and producer of kids and family content. A dual citizen of Canada and the US, she's currently focused on developing new projects after serving as a creative executive for children's programming at AppleTV+, where she helped launch the service. A multi-hyphenate, Kristen has written/produced/directed NBC/Sprout’s Emmy-nominated Sunny Side Up, TVO & PBS’s My Stay-at-Home Diary docuseries, Noggin’s educational preschool series, Noggin Knows, and TVO’s Emmy-winning playground building series Giver, which she also co-developed. She has written for Cartoon Network’s Lucas the Spider, Nickelodeon’s Abby Hatcher, and PBS's Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood, created segments for HBO's Sesame Street, and has directed on Amazon’s Dino Dana

Kristen completed her Master’s Degree from Teachers College, Columbia University focusing on the cognitive development of children in relation to screen-based media. She is committed to crafting media for kids with impact beyond the screen.
