What happens to my event registration? Do I need to sign up again for the rescheduled event in July?
You don’t need to do anything. As per our cancellation policy, in the case of an event postponement, all existing passes are automatically transferred to the rescheduled event.

What if the new dates don’t work for me? Can I get a refund or transfer my pass to next year?
As per our cancellation policy, if you are unable to attend the event on the rescheduled dates and need to cancel, a 50% cancellation fee will apply.

Can I transfer my live event pass to Kidscreen Summit Virtual and get a refund or credit for the difference in price?
No. As per our cancellation policy, in the case of an event postponement, all passes are automatically transferred to the rescheduled event. But as originally planned, all Kidscreen Summit 2022 delegates will have full access to the Kidscreen Summit Virtual companion event (except for Speed Pitching and Cocktails with… sessions), which is taking place from March 7 to 11, 2022.

I booked a hotel room at the InterContinental Miami. What will happen to that reservation?
Hotel reservations that were made as part of the Kidscreen Summit room block at the InterContinental Miami will be automatically cancelled, with no charges processed, and you’ll receive a cancellation email from the hotel shortly. If you do not receive this cancellation email from the hotel by January 14, please follow up directly (+1-305-372-4746, heather.murri@ihg.com).

My Kidscreen Summit Virtual registration includes recorded sessions from the live event. Can I still access that content?
You certainly can. It will be available online after the rescheduled live event takes place in July. 

I have already booked my flight and hotel, and can’t get a full refund. Will Kidscreen cover that?
No. Kidscreen assumes no liability for travel costs.

I cancelled my registration previously and was refunded 50%. Now that the event is postponed, will I receive a refund for the other 50%?
No. But if you would like to attend the rescheduled event in July, we’d be happy to reinstate your registration and apply the 50% cancellation fee as a credit towards the cost of your pass.
