Joanna Rosenthal is a Creative Executive on the WarnerMedia Kids & Family team. Reporting into Amy Friedman, Rosenthal oversees the creative development of specials and series for third-party animation, co-productions, and live-action across WarnerMedia’s preschool, kids, and family divisions.

Prior to her current role, Rosenthal managed content acquisitions and co-productions for Cartoon Network and Boomerang US for six years. In this position, she evaluated content with regards to each brand’s unique identity, working alongside the Vice President and other executives in programming, content sourcing, and legal. Rosenthal also supervised and provided creative feedback to the respective companies for acquired third-party properties such as Power Players and Care Bears: Unlock the Magic.

Outside of WarnerMedia, Rosenthal’s experience expands into production, media operations, and programming across various companies, including NBCUniversal. She also worked closely on major motion picture films like The Sorcerer’s Apprentice and notable reality TV series Project Runway and A Baby Story.
