Melanie set up Kindle Entertainment with Anne Brogan in 2007. Since then she has exec-produced Jinxa comedy for CBBC; Dustbin Baby, an International Emmy-winning drama for BBC One; Some Dogs Bite, a drama for BBC3 directed by Marc Munden and starring Thomas Brodie-Sangster; mini-series Treasure Island for Sky One starring Eddie Izzard, Donald Sutherland and Elijah Wood; Seasons One and Two of Leonardo, an action-adventure series that Melanie co-created with Pia Ashberry for CBBC and The Life & Adventures of Nick Nickleby for BBC One, a modern-day retelling of Charles Dickens’ classic tale starring Linda Bassett and Adrian Dunbar.

Melanie is currently creative-exec on Dinopaws an animated comedy series for Treehouse TV, CBeebies & BBC Worldwide and Dixi an online mystery series set in the world of social networking for CBBC.

Kindle Entertainment recently won the Children’s BAFTA for Independent Production Company of the Year for the second year running.
