Alyssa Cooper Sapire

SVP, Development, Series & Strategy

FremantleMedia Kids & Family Entertainment

Alyssa Sapire is VP of Development and Programming for FremantleMedia Kids & Family Entertainment.  Current programming includes Kate & Mim Mim, Danger Mouse, Strange Hill High, and Tree Fu Tom.

 

Passionate about kids and teen programming, prior to Fremantle, she spent over 10 years with Nickelodeon, helping to launch Noggin and TeenNick with the groundbreaking Degrassi series and overseeing a slate of award-winning scripted and unscripted series.  Prior to Nickelodeon, Alyssa helped launch Scholastic’s new media business with the I Spy and Clifford franchises, and developed a multiplatform brand for Disney. She started out in production and research for PBS/WNET-TV, working on science documentaries.  She holds an Masters in Education from Teachers College, Columbia University.
