In his current role, Paul DeBenedittis leads the planning, scheduling, acquisitions and co-production teams in the US and is responsible for over 300 hours of televised programming across the multiplatform kids TV portfolio: Disney Channel, Disney XD, Disney Junior. His scheduling purview covers all originally produced series, movies, on-air promos and interstitials, plus the sourcing, negotiation and acquisition of long- and short-form kids programming for Disney Channels Worldwide, including Disney Junior and Disney XD. He also oversees programming for non-linear platforms including WATCH Disney Channel, WATCH Disney XD and WATCH Disney Junior, as well as all On- Demand (VOD and SVOD), mobile and on-board airlines; broadband platforms including Disney.com, YouTube and Netflix; and electronic sell-through platforms including iTunes, Xbox and Sony.
Paul also oversees the Disney Channel Worldwide Programming Strategy team, working closely with management, programming and distribution teams on programming strategy across all territories. In addition, he leads the team responsible for scheduling all on-air promos and advertising traffic for Disney XD, working closely with Advertising Sales, Marketing and Promotions and On-Air Operations.
