Jenna Boyd is the Senior Vice President of Animation Development, Nickelodeon Group. Ms. Boyd oversees the pipeline of all new animated series and the comedy shorts program, focusing on bringing in creator-driven original comedies, fresh animation styles and developing new contemporary classics. Prior to that, she was Vice President, Live Action Development where she oversaw a slate of scripted and unscripted programming for Nickelodeon, Teenick and family originals for Nick at Nite.
Ms. Boyd began her career with Nickelodeon over fifteen years ago in Orlando, Florida where she held her first position as a production intern for Nickelodeon’sKenan & Kel. Shortly after, she moved to New York for a job with TV Land’s programming department and transitioned to Nickelodeon production where she developed and produced both live-action and animation properties for the network.
In 2004, Ms. Boyd moved to Los Angeles as Director, Development where she oversaw production of the critically-acclaimed animated seriesAvatar: The Last Airbender.
Ms. Boyd received her degree in Telecommunications from Ohio University. Originally from Medford Lakes, New Jersey, she now resides in southern California with her husband and her toddler twins.
