Nat Sims is the CEO and founder of Night & Day Studios, a kids’ app company based in Portland and Brooklyn. He has been a content developer and interface designer for over 20 years, creating educational software, interactive installations, and games for clients such as Nickelodeon, Mattel, and the Smithsonian Institution.

Nat and his team have designed over 100 iPhone and iPad applications in the last five years, including the bestselling titles Peekaboo Barn, Peekaboo Sesame Street, and Yummiloo: Rainbow Power. In addition to original IP and a bespoke services business for forward-thinking clients like Julianne Moore and Highlights for Children, Night & Day Studios has international licenses for major children’s brands such as Sesame Street, Caillou,The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Richard Scarry’s Busytown, Tom & Jerry, Looney Tunes, and Ed Emberley, and will be releasing another 20 Android, iOS, and Tizen apps in the next 12 months.

Nat has presented at over a dozen conferences on kids’ culture, education, and technology, including the White House Internet Summit, the Institute for the Future, and Tools of Change Bologna and New York.
