Mattel Playground Productions

As Supervising Producer for Mattel Playground Productionss, David Wiebe is responsible for development and production of creative content for the world's largest toy company.  He developed and show runs the hit web series  Barbie: Life in the Dreamhouse with over 1 billion views on youtube and Netflix.

David came to Mattel from YTV in Canada where he served as the Director of Original Content overseeing development and production of animated, live action and reality programming. Prior to that he oversaw development at Kids’ WB! where he developed Johnny Test and Emmy Award-winning  The Batman. David began his career at Nickelodeon where he was fortunate enough to work on SpongeBob SquarePants and The Fairly OddParents.
