Karl Woolley

Managing Director

Laughing Gravy Media Ltd

Karl has worked in children’s television as a presenter, writer, producer and director for over 15 years. He was managing director of Tell-Tale Productions from 1999 to 2004 in which time the company produced Tweenies, Boo, BB3B, Fun Song Factory and a number of live children’s arena tours including Tweenies and Thomas the Tank Engine.

Karl has produced and written for Disney UK, Prism Entertainment, Lion Television, DC Thomson, Maggie and Rose, Walker Books and Impossible Kids.

Karl has recently stepped down as managing director of Impossible Kids to form a new company, Laughing Gravy Media, with Jon Doyle who was creative director of Impossible Kids. Whilst working together at Impossible Kids Karl and Jon made 52 episodes of Buzz and Tell for CBeebies and 52 episodes of Fleabag Monkeyface for CiTV. They have also secured 2 new commissions for the company, Dinopaws, a 52 x 11 minute CGI animated series  for CBeebies and Animattter, a 26 x 30 minute live action CGI series for CiTV, which they will manage and executive produce via their new venture, Laughing Gravy Media.
