Patti is proud to have received the prestigious Wonder Woman 'OUTSTANDING LICENSING AGENT AWARD'. Becker is currently Chairman of the Advisory Board of Women in Toys, Licensing and Entertainment (WIT) and has been on the Board of Directors of the Boys & Girls Club of Stamford, CT since 2003. She is also on the Advisory Board of Play for Tomorrow, The Ultimate Block Party.  Patti is Past-Director of the Segal Family Foundation.  She is  the immediate Past-President of the Board of Directors of Women in Toys. Under Patti’s leadership, WIT saw explosive growth into more than 23 countries on five continents, including six regions of the U.S. She was recently selected to be on the prestigious LIMA Judges Panel for their annual awards.  Patti conceived, organized and executed the Walmart PiTCH! for 2013 & 2014. The Walmart PiTCH! is a WIT-Walmart Women's Global Empowerment Initiative targeting $20B in funding (55 entrepreneurs PiTCHed! to 11 Walmart Buyers, resulting in several dozen Walmart listings in 2013). Patti is available for speaking engagements, and has been a Speaker at ToyCon, KidScreen Summit, and numerous global Women in Toys, Licensing and Entertainment (WIT) events in the U.S., U.K., Germany, Israel. She has authored articles forPlaythingsMagazine and Antique Game Journals. Becker is a Charter Member of the Antique Game Collectors Association (now AGPA), a member of the Toy Industry Association (TIA), Licensing Industry Merchandisers Association (LIMA), NAPW, & Tufts Alumni Association Program (TAAP).

Prior to founding Becker Associates, Becker worked in a variety of management capacities for Knickerbocker Toy Company, Amtoy, a Division of American Greetings Corp., Sunbeam Corp. and Anjar Co. Becker established the first Play Therapy Clinics at Massachusetts General and Massachusetts Eye & Ear Hospitals; directed the Stamford Inter-District Summer School Program with 277 students and a staff of 37, and secured the first national grant as the Assistant Director of The Children’s Community, an innovative early childhood program encompassing a 40% homeless population. Becker also taught Marketing at SUNY Fashion Institute of Technology, as well as elementary school reading and high school math. Becker's Masters’ Thesis, “The Marketing of Toys and Games in the 19th, 20th, and 21st Centuries,” (1984), predicted the growth of global toy marketing and provided key research in the marketing of early games. Becker received an MBA in Marketing (Stern Business School, NYU), a BA in Developmental Child Psychology and Education (Tufts), and has a formal background in Art.
