Laura Harbin is the Senior Director of Scripted Programming for Temple Street Productions. A Gemini award and International Emmy Award winner, Harbin is responsible for overseeing the development and production of Temple Street’s scripted series and films including the highly rated, award-winning series Being Erica (CBC), The Next Step, and the teen hit show Wingin’ It (Family Channel).
With more than 17 years of experience in film and television Harbin has been on the producing team for more than 35 titles including; the television series Bloodletting & Miraculous Cures (TMN/MC), Murdoch Mysteries (CityTV), ReGenesis (TMN/MC/Global), Life with Derek (Family Channel), and Dark Oracle (YTV) among many others.
Harbin has a Bachelor of Commerce from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario.
