Gary Timpson

Kavaleer Productions

Gary Timpson’s experience spans almost twenty  years and three continents, starting out in 1995 in Dublin’s Shepherd Studios and then at Terraglyph Productions working as an assistant animator on three features; Carnival, Help I’m a Fish and Duck Ugly. Leaving Dublin in 2000, Gary headed  to London where he worked for a number of production houses including Picasso Pictures, Hibbert Ralph, Illuminated Pictures, Purdums, Sherbert and Stardust.


In late 2001 Gary secured a position at Halo pictures in Sydney Australia , working on the hit TV series Mr. Bean and in 2002 Gary ventured up the Sunshine Coast to Brisbane where he was offered a supervisory position at Liquid Animation working on 26 Episodes of The Proud Family, and as an Assistant Director for the 3D segment of the hugely successful and well known series Duck Dodgers.


Since joining Kavaleer in 2003, Gary has acted as an Executive Producer/Producer on a number of high profile projects, including Lifeboat Luke, Garth & Bev, and Abadas. He is currently working on Kavaleer’s latest preschool series, Wildernutsas well as Boj, which is a co-production with UK-based Pesky Animation and Bait Studios for Cbeebies, S4c, PBS and RTÉ.
