Dan Victor is Founder and President of Victor Advisors PLLC, a New York professional corporation that focuses on the media business, including representation of a variety of media clients: cable channels, video and digital media producers, internet companies, traditional and new media publishers, educational service companies, licensors, and merchandising representatives. Its client-base extends beyond media companies to not-for-profits, museums, research companies and educational research and evaluation providers. Victor Advisors operates in affiliation with a network of business advisors and consultants in key countries throughout the world, including China, Japan, Singapore, India, Indonesia, Brazil, Mexico and Israel
Prior to launching Victor Advisors in October 2009, Dan served as Executive Vice President, International Projects, of Sesame Workshop, the company that produces Sesame Street and other children’s educational properties around the world. Until June 2005, Dan served as Executive Vice President and General Counsel, Legal and Business Affairs for Sesame Workshop, overseeing the organization’s legal and business affairs department.
He has been representing clients in the China media market for twenty-years.
Dan graduated cum laude from the Harvard Law School, and summa cum laude and phi beta kappa from Brandeis University. He is admitted to practice in the New York Federal and State courts and serves on the Entertainment Law Committee of the New York City Bar Association.
