Athena Georgaklis is the Manager, Original Production for TELETOON Canada Inc. Georgaklis is responsible for supervising the development and production of original programming for TELETOON and TELETOON at Night in English and French. In this role, Athena is charged with securing new talent and partnerships on behalf of TELETOON’s original production team and works closely with TELETOON’s production partners, receiving pitches and proposals, commissioning projects and acting as production executive on assigned series.
Since joining TELETOON, Athena has been instrumental in the growth and success of such series as Grojband, Camp Lakebottom, Rocket Monkeys, Total Drama Island, Fugget About It, Têtes à Claques and Camp Lakebottom. Athena is currently managing the development and production of many new series including the upcoming Endangered Species and Atomic Puppet.
