For almost 30 years, Sheila has been very happily immersed in working with ideas for broadcast on various platforms. As a producer of both TV and radio content, as well as a TV location and multi-camera director, she has spent many years making live and pre-recorded programming across all genres, including factual, entertainment, music, documentary, drama and current affairs. Executive Producer credits include “40 Years of RTÉ Television,” , a year-long cross platform event, and a continuing drama series for teens.

Sheila has been working in Young Peoples TV since 2003. In 2012 she took up a role as Cross Divisional Head of Childrens Content and Controller of RTÉjr. In this role she has responsibility for RTÉ’s content for youngsters under 18 across four platforms—TV, radio, online and mobile—as well as for RTÉ’s third channel, RTÉjr , which launched in April 2013.
