Chapman Maddox is the Director of Development for FremantleMedia’s Kids and Family Entertainment division, where he develops and oversees programming within the animation and live-action spaces. This includes such series as Grojband (Cartoon Network,Teletoon), Max Steel (Disney XD), Monsuno and Alien Dawn (Nickelodeon), and Strange Hill High and Wizards vs Aliens (BBC). He’s currently executive producing the BBC’s reboot of the classic, animated hit Danger Mouse.
Prior to joining Fremantle, Maddox was the Director of Development for the Los Angeles-based animation studio Six Point Harness. There, he was in charge of developing animated kids, primetime, and digital properties. He also developed and executive produced YouTube’s most viewed animated series ever, Dick Figures, which spawned a feature-length movie and a recently green-lit sequel.
Before his tenure at Six Point Harness, Maddox was the Coordinator of Comedy Development and Current Series at Cartoon Network and Adult Swim. In addition, he was a member of the comedy team responsible for Adventure Time and Regular Show.
Maddox graduated from Pepperdine University after attending the University of Evansville, Indiana.
