Susanis an entrepreneur and producer of television, film, books, products and digital content for children. She is the founding partner of three companies, Mixed Media Group, Bolder Media and Cupcake Digital, Inc., specializing in producing and licensing world-class media properties, lifestyle and corporate brands.
In 2007, Susan was invited to join the Producers Guild of America (PGA). She is the Executive Producer and co-owner of the Emmy-Award winning series Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! and Wubb Idol!, the award winning television movie staring Beyoncé Knowles. Miller is also the co-producer of the Miramax film Ella Enchanted starring Anne Hathaway.
Wow! Wow! Wubbzy! has been seen by children in 120+ countries and is a digital media pioneer and leader. NickJr.com games have been played one billion + times. Android and iOS apps have reached number one and been top sellers in their categories.
Under Susan’s leadership, Cupcake Digital has grown into a leading app producer that successfully transforms world-class children’s television, film and book properties into enhanced story experiences and learn & play apps. The company has introduced hundreds of top ranked apps for children through Apple, Amazon, Google Play and Barnes and Noble. The company has received six Parents' Choice Awards, multiple Children’s Technology Review Editor’s Choice, and five Cynopsis Kids !magination Awards.
Susan also works extensively in book publishing and has generated multiple New York Times Bestsellers. Prior to starting her own company, Susan was an executive with Warner Bros., American Express, Colgate and Xerox. She is often invited to speak about media and entrepreneurship at University of Michigan, Columbia University, NYU, Carnegie Mellon, KidScreen Summit, IKids, Producers Guild of America, NYWIFT, Licensing Expo, Toy Fair, PAEYC and Association of American Publishers. She is a founding board member of the Digital Excellence Initiative at the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business.
