Passionate about creating outstanding children’s content on all platforms, Daniel Bays created and series produced the ground-breaking, physically interactive, international hit preschool animated series, Tree Fu Tom (for BBC and Fremantle Media).
Daniel started his career in creative development – creating shows, brands and formats for BBC Science and Factual Entertainment – and worked up through the ranks of TV production to produce and direct actuality and formatted documentaries – including working on the UK’s longest running and most loved tech show: Tomorrow’s World – before moving in to BBC Children’s to develop big new ideas for all platforms and produce animation.
Daniel also worked in CBBC Interactive; developing and producing websites and games. As a game fanatic and digital and interactive evangelist, this was a personal dream come true.
Currently Daniel is developing two new shows for CBeebies that will hopefully become the next big cross-platform properties for the Channel.
