Lori Burke has been working in the licensing field specific to the children's publishing industry for the past fifteen years. In the last decade, she has had the pleasure of working on licensed tie-in book programs and children’s publishing at DK Publishing, Scholastic, and Penguin Group. Now, at Penguin Random House, she works alongside editors, designers, and a variety of talented authors and artist as the Executive Director of Licensing Acquisitions and Media.
Lori has worked in a variety of areas in the publishing business including: sales, marketing, brand management, production, and editorial divisions. Lori feels creative content coming from publishers offers a multitude of licensing opportunities, and finds transforming beloved characters and brands beyond the book to be extremely rewarding. Currently, Lori is directing new content acquisitions for Penguin Young Readers Group’s licensed publishing portfolio, and managing the expansion our preschool and pop culture brands to entertainment platforms.
