Ryan Lussing is a content creator and producer working on entertainment properties across multiple platforms including television (A&E, Discovery Channel, CBC, Network Ten, ABC Australia), mobile (iOS, Android) and emerging technologies (Google Glass, Oculus Rift).
Ryan co-created the internationally renowned animated children’s series Dex Hamilton: Alien Entomologist (CBC, Network Ten), served as writer, producer and visual-FX director (Cartoons on the Bay: International Television & Multimedia Festival/2009ELAN Awards Nominee), and co-created the online Dex Hamilton game, Dex Hamilton’s Bug Quest (2011Canadian Video Game Awards,Best Social/Casual Game Nominee).
Ryan produced the international hit mobile game Beast Farmer: Swamp Chicken Edition (#1 Kid’s Game Worldwide/#2 App Worldwide,iTunes), as a founding Partner of the children’s entertainment company, Industrial Brothers.
As founder and executive producer of Yellow Bear Studios Ryan has produced mobile games and interactive transmedia and convergent experiences including developing and directing the award-winning iOS and Android game State of Syn: The World Outside (2014 IAWTV Award, Best Interactive Experience), and writing, directing and game designing the World’s first real-time action strategy game, Singularity, (2014 Digi Award, Best Game Nominee)for Smokebomb Entertainment, Google Glass and the Canadian Film Centre (CFC).
Yellow Bear Studios’ current production slate includes animated series; an innovative televised mobile game; and the production of a smart home and smart toy technology platform for kids.
