Disney Channels

Emily Hart is vice president, Original Programming, Disney Channels. In her role, she oversees series' development of original and Disney heritage-based television properties for the Disney Junior and Disney Channel audiences of kids 2-7 and 6-11, respectively.

Hart joined Disney in 2003. During her tenure, she has worked as a production executive on Little Einsteins and the Emmy Award-nominated Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and overseen production and creative development for Disney Junior's acclaimed animated series including Fancy Nancy, Vampirina, The Lion Guard and Jake and the Never Land Pirates. She is also in charge of development on the upcoming animated adventure series The Rocketeer, inspired by Dave Stevens' popular comic book series.

Prior to joining Disney Channel, Hart held the position of Director of Development for the Florida Film Festival, where she was in charge of sponsorship strategy and the acquisition of festival content.  Hart began her career at Nickelodeon, where she was host of the live show Game Lab at Universal Studios.

Hart graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Central Florida with an Honors Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre.  She is a member of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.  Hart resides in Los Angeles with her husband and their two young daughters.
