Ellen has overseen the content strategy at Hopster since 2015 and has worked with a range of distribution companies including Entertainment One, DHX, DreamWorks and Sesame Workshop. She has led the development of Hopster’s original content productions and was the executive producer of Two Minutes Tales, Hopster’s popular short-form animation based on Grimm’s fairy tales.
Ellen is currently working on the development of the second season of Two Minute Tales and is coordinating the production of ‘Saturday Club’, a new preschool series exploring empathy and emotions.
Ellen was a panellist at this year’s Children’s Media Conference and has been a juror at the Children’s BAFTA and at the British Animation Awards. She takes pride in discovering beautiful independent productions and working with young artists and budding musicians.
As a Fine Arts graduate, in her free time Ellen enjoys printmaking and illustration. She also loves the outdoors, hiking and travelling around the world.
