As President of eOne’s Family & Brands division, Olivier oversees all commercial and creative activities for the division across all media, including development, production, sales, licensing and merchandising. His responsibilities include developing properties into global TV, home entertainment, new media and licensing and merchandising brands while supervising all of eOne's Family operations in the UK, US, Canada, Australia, Hong Kong, Brazil and Spain.
Under his leadership, yearly retail revenues generated by eOne’s preschool hit property Peppa Pig have surpassed 1.35 billion USD and 1.15 billion USD for PJ Masks and eOne’s latest preschool property, Ricky Zoom, has been launched by A-list broadcasters in key territories globally including the USA, Canada, Latin America, China, UK, France, Italy, Spain and Germany.
Prior to joining Entertainment One, Olivier Dumont served as MD of TV Loonland overseeing all creative and commercial activities including sourcing and development of kids and family entertainment properties. He had previously been MD of SIP Animation where he was responsible for development, financing, production and distribution of animated series.
His career in the television and kids programming began in 1993 when he joined Europe Images International – a major distributor of live action, documentary and animation programming. He also worked at French broadcaster Canal J where he was responsible for acquisitions and co-productions and oversaw the complete revamping of the broadcaster’s line-up in terms of programming genre and programming scheduling.
Dumont studied French and Anglo American law at the Université Paris X Nanterre and intellectual property law at Université Panthéon Assas (Paris II).
