Mattel

As Executive Producer of Mattel Television, Adam Bonnett is responsible for developing and producing episodic content based on Mattel’s portfolio of iconic brands. He leads development and production for all of Mattel’s television programming, which includes Barbie Dreamhouse Adventures, Masters of the Universe: RevelationFireman Sam, Polly Pocket and Thomas and Friends. Under Adam’s leadership, Mattel Television is also focused on developing a variety of kid and family content including animation, live action and unscripted.  

Prior to Mattel, Adam spent 21 years at Disney where he most recently served as Executive Vice President of Original Programming, Disney Channel Worldwide.  In this role, Adam led all live-action development, original series and movies for Disney Channel, as well as multi-platform programming, casting and talent relations. Adam was behind many of Disney’s most-successful original TV series and movies, including  Descendants, Andi Mack, Hannah Montana, Lizzie McGuire, the Emmy Award-winning Even Stevens, and That’s So Raven.

Adam came to Disney from Nickelodeon where he was the Director of Current Programming and also spearheaded the annual Kids Choice Awards. Adam received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Cinema Studies from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.
