2015 Emmy winner for his work as head writer on PBS kids' Wordgirl series, Grant's been a writer, story editor, producer and executive in kids and family entertainment for 25 years.
He started at warner bros. Animation, contributing to such award-winning series as Animaniacs, Tiny Toon Adventures, and Batman: The Animated Series. At Nickelodeon, he worked both sides of the desk, first overseeing production on Rugrats and The Wild Thornberrys as executive director of current series and then serving as head writer on the adventures of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius.
Recently he’s written for Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy and Marvel's Spider-man, made by Maddie for Silvergate Media, and Bob the Builder and Barbie Dreamhouse adventures for Mattel creations, developing and serving as head writer on the latter.
Grant works regularly as a creative consultant, helping companies all over the world produce fun, smart, quality entertainment for kids and families. He’s currently developing Nut Jobs, the animated series based on the hit feature franchise, for Toonbox Entertainment.
In 2016 grant founded Kids Entertainment Professionals for Young Refugees (www.kepyr.org), an all-volunteer organization rallying the global kids entertainment community in support of UNICEF’s work with child refugees worldwide.
