Josh Mandel is a senior level film, broadcast and digital content producer and production executive with over 15 years of experience producing and developing content for companies: Mattel, Disney, Pixar, Warner Bros, Universal, Sony, DC Comics, Dreamworks, Microsoft, Amazon, Interscope, Atlantic Records and WWE. 

Josh began his filmmaking career in Development at Miramax with projects like Martin Scorsese’s Gangs of New York and Production at Interscope with artists like Eminem, Weezer and 50 Cent before segueing into feature films and series. For over 10 years, Josh has also served as a Senior Programmer at the Slamdance Film Festival, one of the Top 5 film festivals in North America which is recognized for talent discovery and career launches of renowned filmmakers like Christopher Nolan, the Russo brothers, Lena Dunham and Bong Joon-Ho.

Josh has produced 10 feature films and hundreds of hours of broadcast and digital content, including overseeing global marketing campaigns for franchise movie / consumer product tie-ins on Toy Story 4 (Disney/Pixar), Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (Universal), Aquaman (Warner Bros/DC) and Cars 3 (Disney/Pixar). While working at Mattel over a 10-year span, Josh produced a wide range of animated and live action children’s content for such global brands as Barbie, Hot Wheels, Thomas the Train and Polly Pocket, as well as licensed-partner brands like Minecraft, Minions, Batman and Fast & Furious.

Josh is currently overseeing development and production on original series at Amazon Kids+, the premiere destination for movies, series, mobile games and books aimed at kids ages 3-12. As a producer, production executive and festival programmer with a keen eye for discovering and developing emerging talent, Josh works year-round to create and curate content for diverse audiences worldwide.
