Asalle Tanha is director of development for Cartoon Network Original Series, where she is responsible for finding and developing new original shows. She has developed 17 artist-driven shorts in addition to the hit series Victor and Valentino, Craig of the Creek, Apple & Onion, and Infinity Train, as well as Tig n’ Seek and The Fungies, produced by Cartoon Network Studios for HBOMax.
Tanha began her career in animation as part of Pixar’s Story department, where she was a production assistant on the feature film The Good Dinosaur. Prior, she touched nearly every other department at Pixar where she developed a thorough understanding of the company’s internal content pipeline.
Tanha graduated from UC Berkeley with a Bachelor of Arts in Classical Civilizations. She also holds a Master of Science degree in Media and Communications from the London School of Economics.
