A native of New Zealand, Heath started in the animation industry as a animator and quickly gained experience in story boarding, layout and post production. After working in television and commercials in New Zealand, Heath moved to London as a Freelance Animator where he worked on high-end commercials and music videos. During this time, he became a director at Passion Pictures in the UK, directing commercials for clients such as Nike, The BBC and Kelloggs. He was animation director for Gorillaz “Dirty Harry” music video and a senior animator on the entire second album.
After he moved to Paris, Heath co-directed, art directed and wrote on the series Robot Boy (2nd season) for Cartoon Network and Green Squad”for France 3. Heath Kenny has become a leading name in the creative development of animated content by constantly working with channels such as Cartoon Network, Disney XD (Dude that's my ghost), France Télévisions (Pok & Mok), M6, Orange Cinema Series (Santa’s Apprentice feature film). His experience as an international freelancer made easier his transition to the role of director of creation at Gaumont Animation. His market experience in Europe, Great-Britain and the United States has helped to continue Gaumont Animation growth as an international content provider.
