Yurie Rocha is a Creative Director at Guru Studio, the Toronto-based entertainment company and industry leader in animated storytelling. For over 17 years Yurie’s love for characters and comedy have brought to life much loved shows such as PAW Patrol, True and the Rainbow Kingdom, and most recently the creative development for Pikwik Pack now on Disney Junior and Treehouse in Canada. Yurie is currently working with Cookie Monster and friends as Series director on the upcoming CG animated series Mecha Builders, for Sesame Workshop and HBO Max. Yurie's work has captured the imagination of children around the world by helping to create iconic characters that live well beyond the screen, with the philosophy that great characters are the heart and soul of every great story.
