Gráinne is an award-winning creator of standout stories for young children that encourage them to see the world in different ways. As Creative Director at Paper Owl Films, Gráinne leads the development of ambitious content for international audiences.

Creator of Pablo for CBeebies and RTÉJr., the series is celebrated all over the world for its timely portrayal of a smart little autistic character. She is currently developing Series 3, with a colourful musical theatre show in the works and a series of ladybird books with Penguin Random House.

Current Irish language projects include Sol for TG4, S4C & BBC Alba, a special about a young boy on a quest to bring the light back to the world after the death of his beloved grandmother and Bóin agus Beach (Ladybird & Bee) for RTÉJr., a first-hand view of nature from two little friends in Wild Meadow.

Gráinne has an exciting slate of new projects in the preschool, 8 – 12s and early teen space. She holds a BA, Media Studies and an MA, Marketing from Ulster University, a PG Cert in Teaching Adult Learners and PG Cert in Computer Based Learning from Queens. She is kept well informed about kids’ content by her two children.
