Sam Ferguson is VP of Global Licensing at Jazwares, a leading global toy manufacturer specializing in wholly-owned & licensed brands. Based out of Jazwares’ UK office since being hired in 2016, Sam is multi-faceted in his role. Has been selected previously for License Global’s 40 Under 40 Influential list and recognized as an industry expert, he spends time identifying up and coming properties, managing Squishmallows outbound licensing, brand building, and attending trade events around the world. Most notably, Ferguson garnered global buzz in 2018 for landing Fortnite to launch Jazware’s highly-anticipated #FortniteIRL toy line only 5 months later. Sam’s love for licensing began in 2006 at Global Brands Group, where he worked passionately on the FIFA World Cup and the PGA Golf Tour as well as with celebrity chef Marco Pierre White and IPC magazine publishers (NME, Loaded, Homes & Gardens.) In 2011 Ferguson moved to Beanstalk where he developed corporate branded programs for companies like Proctor & Gamble, Jack Daniels, Stanley Black & Decker, and fashion brands Aquascutum and Selena Gomez. In 2012 Sam transitioned to the licensor side for Mind Candy leading licensing and manufacturing for the hugely successful Moshi Monsters brand before leaving to join the Jazwares team in 2016.
