Austin is an entertainment lawyer, producer, writer and director. He has worked at such companies as Lions Gate Films, Rhombus Media BMG Music, and WildBrain, and is currently Director, Legal Counsel for Corus Entertainment which produces such shows as Thomas and Friends, Ranger Rob and Entertainment Tonight. He was a producer of Bruce McDonald’s feature film This Movie is Broken and was Associate Producer for such feature films as Fernando Meirelles’ Blindness starring Julianne Moore, and Paul Gross’s Passchendaele. He also wrote and directed a short film funded by BravoFact called Gaysian which played at 27 film festivals around the world.
