As part of TVO’s programming and acquisitions, Kirsten sources a wide range of educational kids programming from all over the world and ensures it complements learning pathways for all children in Ontario. She also acts as a production executive on multiple TVOkids co-productions each year, seeing programs from the initial stages through to finished episodes. Kirsten has over 15 years of experience in international sales and acquisitions of finished programming, most recently as Director of Acquisitions and Canada Sales at Distribution360 (marblemedia). She has also held sales and management positions at Cookie Jar Entertainment, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) and Decode/DHX Media. Kirsten is a frequent attendee of international market events like Kidscreen, MIPCOM, MIPTV, Banff Media Festival, TIFF, Realscreen and NATPE.
