A career Entertainment Specialist, Stuart began his career at Paramount working in marketing at Canada’s number one theatre chain: Famous Players. There, he oversaw Film marketing at the exhibitor working with studios like Disney, MGM, and Sony to develop their in-theatre marketing programs. Stuart helped the theatre chain win best in theatre Promotion for DreamWorks for their film, Peacemaker. In addition, he worked with WWE to develop a first in kind in-theatre program to show all their PPV in theatres across Canada.
After Paramount, Stuart was recruited by Microsoft to lead strategic partnerships for the launch of Xbox in the Canadian Marketplace.
In the nineteen years that Stuart has been at Segal Licensing, a Division of Interpublic Group of Companies Canada, he has developed licensing programs on properties such as Dr. Seuss Enterprises, Crayola, Spin Master, King Features, DreamWorks, 20th Century Fox, Marvel, Tony Hawk, and for the iconic Kevin Smith.
