Cort Lane is a passionate creative exec with extensive experience in animation development, production & storytelling. Cort is VP of Original Content for Fashion Brands at eOne and Executive Producer of the new My Little Pony series for Netflix. With 12 years at Marvel/Disney and 7 years at Mattel he has built a diverse skillset in kids' entertainment with credits like Barbie In A Christmas Carol, The Super Hero Squad Show, Ultimate Spider-Man, the girls' franchise Marvel Rising and recent preschool series Spidey And His Amazing Friends. He has been recognized with two Emmy nominations (for Rocket 'n Grootand Marvel's Spider-Man) and two NAACP Image Award Nominations (for Black Panther's Quest). Cort's expertise in animation for girls and boys of all ages includes action-adventure, comedy & preschool shows - in every length from short-form to series to feature-length.

Cort currently serves on GLAAD’s Kids & Family Advisory Council. He recently Executive Produced the documentary feature No Straight Lines: The Rise of Queer Comics, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and won the Grand Jury Prize at Outfest. Cort is also writing his ongoing children's book series Monster and Me from Little Bee and Simon & Schuster.
