Heather Tilert is Director of Preschool Content at Netflix where she and her team are responsible for development and production of the programming slate for Netflix’s youngest viewers. Heather started her ~20 year career in kids’ tv on The Wonder Pets!, and has worked as a producer, writer, and creator to varying degrees of success and failure before moving into working as a Creative Exec. Heather works with her talented team of execs, and world-class creators, to build a diverse slate of stories that can entertain, educate, and inspire preschoolers and their families the world over. Since stepping into the preschool lead role in 2019, the team’s slate has garnered 51 awards nominations and 18 wins across 15 titles at such prestigious awards shows as the Daytime Emmys, BAFTA Awards, Kidscreen Awards, the Annie Awards, NAACP Image Awards, and the GLAAD Media Awards. Heather currently lives in the northern boonies of Los Angeles with her husband, two kids, and two dogs. 

The Netflix preschool slate includes a wide variety of titles for the youngest viewers, including Gabby's Dollhouse, Ask The StoryBots,Go! Go! Cory Carson,Ada Twist, Scientist, Spirit Rangers, and upcoming showsCoComelon Lane, and Princess Power.
