Award-winning screenwriter Ursula Ziegler-Sullivan has been writing for Paw Patrol since its debut, indeed her script was the very first episode to air. She was upped to Story Editor in Season 3 and promoted to executive producer in season 5 and currently is helming Season 10 of this juggernaut. Ursula started in live action. She was on staff for Head of the Class, followed by a stint on Empty Nest where she also served as a producer. Her background in live action includes writing for Sister, Sister, Larroquette, 9 to 5, and Fresh Beat Band. She has also written pilots for CBS, Castle Rock, and Fox. Moving into animation, Ursula penned multiple episodes for many programs including, Franklin and Friends, W.I.T.C.H., Nerds & Monsters, Rated A for Awesome, Babar and the Adventures of Badou, Little Charmers, Sheriff Callie’s Wild West, Maya the Bee, Pet Alien, Word World, and many others. Ursula has also developed numerous animated projects for such entities as Nickelodeon, Marathon Media, Nelvana, and Keith Chapman. Along with her extensive experience in television writing, Ursula is uniquely qualified to speak about trends in toys and play – given that she also has spent years writing and reporting on the toy and licensing industry and has earned an MBA from California State University, Northridge.
