Mary-Ellen currently holds the position of Australian Broadcasting Corporation’s Managing Editor, Children’s Content. In this role she facilitates and oversees the delivery of a broad slate of award-winning animation, factual, factual entertainment, scripted/unscripted series and online content in collaboration with a wide range of independent film and television content makers both in Australia and around the world. Mary-Ellen’s Executive Producer credits include 13 part Grace Beside Me (Prix Jeunesse 2018 finalist, Logie nominee 2018, 2019) live action television series, Little J and Big Cuz animation series 1 & 2 (Logie Winner 2018 Best Children’s Series) as well as Future Dreaming VR and documentary series (Tribeca 2019), Thalu 10 part live action series (2020 APRA AMCOS Best Music for Children's Television) and Mikki vs the World 15 part series (Best Children’s Television Program ATOM Awards 2021). Mikki was also profiled in The Wit’s Fresh Kids TV MIPTV as one of the trendsetting children’s programs of 2021. She is a past International Emmy Juror for both documentary and children’s.
