With extensive credits in animation and live-action programming, Eric Rollman is currently an independent producer and consultant. Having decades of executive experience at Marvel, Saban and Fox Family, Eric is influential to world-class brands in helping them connect to audiences through the creation of content designed to engage, connect, impact and delight. He often works through the lifeline of a project including development, production, distribution and IP/franchise strategy.
Rollman is partnering with the world-renowned ballerina, author and producer Misty Copeland’s Life in Motion Productions on a new animated series inspired by the famous (Stravinsky) ballet, The Firebird. This was Misty’s first lead role in a classical ballet and the title of one of her most popular books.
At Sony Pictures Television, Rollman is a production consultant for their adult-targeted animated TV series’ slate including Good Times (Netflix); Sausage Party: Foodtopia and The Boys Presents: Diabolical (Amazon).
Most recently, Rollman was producing a new Boondocks series for Sony/HBO Max; developing a slate of Activision|Blizzard IP into animated series; and was an EP for 6 live-action film adaptations of BBC One’s beloved Worzel Gummidge. For Netflix, he was the supervising producer of the animated Skylanders Academy; consultant for Legendary’s Pacific Rim: Black anime series. For SeaWorld, he is the co-creator/EP of two doc-ed series which aired for a combined 12 seasons on the ABC Litton Weekend Adventure; The Wildlife Docs, and the 2016 Emmy-winner for ‘Outstanding Children's Series,’ Sea Rescue.
In 2018, with CEO and Founder Dr. Jeff Vinokur, Rollman became President and Co-Founder of Generation Genius, a SVOD Ed Tech platform ranked the #1 fastest-growing education company in America on the 2022 Inc. 5000 list. For this venture, the team has produced 9 live-action curriculum-aligned science and math shows covering all standards for grades K-8.
