Matthew Berkowitz is the Chief Creative Officer of Atomic Cartoons and Thunderbird Entertainment and oversees the development, production and acquisition of intellectual properties across both companies. A seasoned executive with over a decade in the industry, Matthew is an Executive Producer of Atomic's The Last Kids on Earth and several Netflix series including Oddballs and Dogs in Space and brand-new preschool show Princess Power, which bows at the end of January. Matthew is also a Producer on the feature film Extinct, which was recently released on Netflix and is directed by David Silverman (The Simpsons Movie, Monsters Inc.) and written by The Simpsons veterans Joel Cohen, Rob LaZebnik and John Frink. Throughout his career, Matthew has established production relationships with Sony Animation, DreamWorks Animation, Amazon Studios, Lego and Zodiak. Matthew regularly attends worldwide markets including MIPCOM, Kidscreen, Annecy, Comic-Con and Licensing Expo. Matthew graduated from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University and is the proud father of three daughters.
