Albie Hecht, Chief Content Officer of pocket.watch, is an Academy Award and Emmy Award-winning producer who has created hit TV shows that have become household names. As president of Nickelodeon Entertainment, he oversaw the development and production of “SpongeBob SquarePants,” “Dora the Explorer,” “Blue’s Clues,” “All That” and co-created and executive produced the Kids’ Choice Awards. While at Nickelodeon, Hecht also produced the Oscar nominated films “Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius” and “Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events” for Paramount Pictures. Hecht went on to become creator and President of Spike TV and served as general manager of CNN’s Headline News (HLN). Since 2005, when Hecht co-founded Shine Global, a nonprofit media company, he has produced over nine feature documentaries including Academy Award nominated and Emmy Award-winning “War/Dance,” and the 2013 Academy Award-winning documentary short “Inocente.” Currently, Hecht is the creator and Executive Producer of “Ryan’s Mystery Playdate,” the No. 1 preschool show on television.
