UK-based Julian Bashford became a show creator in 2017 after spending 21 years as CEO and co-founder of a UK/US satellite communications hardware developer. Having been involved with creating and commissioning animated adverts for a few years, for his business, he took that interest further by developing shows for children having been a children’s TV enthusiast for over four decades! The main ambition is to make shows with purpose.
In 2021, Sky Kids in the UK commissioned BooSnoo! which he co-produces with Mackinnon and Saunders. The show (now represented globally by Thunderbird Entertainment) is inspired by his experience as a parent in a neuro-diverse family. With no words, script, songs, story, or even faces, it’s a truly original show for all children, but particularly made for neurodiverse kids, for them to enjoy.
