Vicky Schroderus joined YLE Finnish Broadcasting Company in 1997 and is currently working as Senior Executive in Charge of International Co-Productions and Acquisitions at YLE Children and Youth. In this role, Vicky negotiates all the acquisitions for the target 0 to 12-year-old kids, as well as co-produces international animation specials and live-action content for 8 to 12-year-old kids. She also oversees the dubbing and programming of the shows. In the past, she has worked several years at YLE International Acquisitions. She has acquired content for kids but also non-English fiction, music, and extreme sports. Before joining YLE, Vicky earned a Master's degree in Business Administration at the Turku School of Economics. She started her career at the market research department at Schweizerische Mobiliar in Switzerland.
