Dean is Head of Content and Co-Founder of Kidstream, a subscription-based streaming service focused on kids 2 to 9 and their families. Kidstream was launched in 2017 and features safe, enriching, diverse, and high-quality kids content and is available via top distribution partners including Comcast’s Xfinity Subscriptions and Amazon Prime Video Channels. Dean came into the industry in 1995 as CFO & COO of The itsy bitsy Entertainment Company, managing Television and Licensing for kids series including Teletubbies, Noddy and Eloise. Dean then joined LazyTown Entertainment in 2002 helping to secure the initial broadcast deals for the LazyTown series and went on to manage Television and Licensing for the brand around the world. Dean has also worked with other best-in-class kids creators and producers including Honest Entertainment and Pukeko Pictures where he served as Executive Producer on Book Hungry Bears.
