Koyalee (KWAY-lee) Chanda is currently the SVP of Animation for Lion Forge Entertainment. With over 25 years in the kids content industry, she is a seven-time Emmy-nominated producer, director, and creative executive. Over the years, she has worked on some of the biggest and most beloved properties in kids content, including Sesame Street, Odd Squad, and Blue’s Clues, of which she directed over 30 episodes.
As a trusted Creative Executive and Consultant, Koyalee has worked for several top kids producers, including Apple TV+, Netflix Animation (with creator Chris Nee), HBO Kids and Family, Nickelodeon, NBC Universal, PBS KIDS, Sesame Workshop, and most recently, Reese Witherspoon’s company Hello Sunshine.
As the daughter of South Asian immigrants, Koyalee is still keeping medical school as a fallback option to appease her parents.
