Irene Pothecary-Huse is an experienced Acquisitions Executive and Commissioner for the Norwegian Public Broadcasting Corporation (NRK).
Initially, Irene joined NRK as part of the creative team behind the development and launch of NRK’s second channel, NRK2. She has since served as an executive buyer as well as co-producing and developing content for NRK1, NRK2, and NRK3. In 2007, Irene became part of the team developing NRK’s designated children's platform, NRK Super.
NRK Super has been awarded several prestigious awards for its productions and is broadcast on FVOD, linear TV, radio, and social media. Viewers appreciate a wide variety of external acquisitions, in addition to in-house and co-productions of a variety of formats and genres.
