Jaime Jiménez Rión is Vice President for WBD’s LatAm Kids and Animation Content Strategy and Original Production, as part of his role he oversees the content strategy for all platforms including the linear networks (Cartoonito, Discovery Kids, Cartoon Network, and Adult Swim) and streaming. He’s also responsible for the Original Production activity in the region where he works to identify and support new animated series from Latin American studios and creators that can fit the company's needs to develop them and produce them with such partners to become part of WBD’s portfolio.
He previously worked for Cartoon Network leading the content team in Mexico and Colombia. While in these roles, he worked on popular shows including Villainous and Frankelda, among others.
Before joining the Original Production team at WBD, Jaime was part of the Consumer Products team at Cartoon Network Latin America responsible for regional strategy.
