Today’s kids are struggling to understand a whole host of complex issues that previous generations weren’t weighed down by—from global crises like the pandemic, recession and the possibility of war in Europe, to challenges that may hit closer to home such as mental illness, racism and the dangers of social media. Content can be a refuge for many kids, but it can also be a powerful tool for promoting discussion, empathy and comprehension. This panel of experts will dig into how to talk about tough topics with kids of all ages, while keeping things positive, uplifting and emotionally supportive.
